Joseph and Lele Caceres tied the knot Thursday evening overlooking Willamette valley from the beautiful Youngberg Hill Winery! They had a traditional ceremony infused with Chinese and Hawaiian elements including an exchanging of leis between the parents. After the ceremony was over, there was a special appearance by the Portland Timbre (<– Not a typo… it’s an acapella group).
When I first met Joe and Lele, they were only in town for a couple of days for some wedding planning. They both lived in Singapore and planned this whole affair from afar. One unique aspect of this wedding was that there were over 75 minutes of toasts and speeches by family and friends, including a special PowerPoint presentation for which we provided a projector and screen. This cut into our dance time a little bit but we managed to get a few select songs in at the end for the guests to dance to while eating some delicious cake 🙂
In between song transitions as a DJ, I was able to capture some video of the wedding. There is bound to be a better video soon from the actual videographers, but here’s a little something in the meantime from us:
